How does it work? You simply register online and tell us a little about the event you'd like. You will visit our Painting Selection page and choose which paintings you'd like to paint the night of the event. Then, Picasso for a Night owner, certified teacher and professional artist, Carol Hartley, will come to your home or to a select venue and bring all painting supplies needed for the evening. We will set up wherever best suits the activity and we will be very respectful and cautious of your venue. If needed, we will cover any items you fear will get paint on them.
For the On Site events, what items do you bring? Picasso for a Night supplies everything needed for the evening of fun. We bring tables, chairs, paint, aprons, canvases, brushes and easels. All of these items are also provided for you if you come to an In Studio event.
How long do the events usually last? Adult classes take about 3 hours, while the children's events last approximately 2 hours. If you are scheduling an On-Site event, we ask that you allot one hour for us to set-up prior to the event start time.
How much is it? Picasso for a Night events are $45 per artist.
What kind of paint is used during the event? Only acrylic paint is used, therefore, your painting dries quickly and your canvas will be ready for the trip home and all the compliments it will receive!
What is the maximum number of guests allowed? We like to have between 10-20 artists.
Can you come to a venue other than my home? Yes, we will come to whatever venue you wish to hold your event.
What do I need to provide as the host? We will supply all items dealing with the painting aspects of the event. If we're at your home or a venue that allows you to bring in food and drinks, you are more than welcome to provide refreshments and libations.
